On Thursday, December 19th, the Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS) hosted a workshop on Practical Issues in Bayesian Modelling at the UM6P Rabat Campus. The event brought together experts and researchers from diverse fields to explore the versatility of Bayesian methods. Topics covered included hierarchical modeling, discrete choice analysis, and innovative techniques like variational Bayesian inference. Participants also engaged in interactive discussions on key technical challenges, including convergence monitoring and optimization techniques.
