We were delighted to host Professor Tarrósy István from Pécs University, who conducted this week's AIRESS Research Seminar on "Raising Awareness about Albinism in Tanzanian Villages."

Professor Tarrósy’s presentation highlighted the ongoing struggles of people with albinism (PWAs) in sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in Tanzania. He discussed the efforts of NGOs, such as Peacemakers for Albinism and Community, in raising awareness and promoting education in local villages.
