The objective of this axis is to carry out investigations intended to show, on various empirical themes, that "culture", far from being an explanatory factor of behaviour, is most often a consequence and an emerging product of a deeper logic, whose real springs must be brought to light, beyond the supposed evidence of "shared identity". The empirical research carried out in this area on Moroccan territory is intended to extend into theoretical reflections on the theory of culture and the classical anthropological theme of its link with human nature.
