The research carried out in this axis aims to study the ways in which populations are and can be involved in the development, implementation and evaluation of public policies that concern them directly, especially at the local level. The goal is also, based on both this research and empirical literature on this topic, to reflect on the participatory mechanisms likely to make public policies more efficient.
