Future discounting in the presence of uncertainty

The research activities of this axis are interested in the study of how economic agents discount the future when the consequences incurred are uncertain (assuming a sophisticated formal framework in comparison to expected utility theory). In addition to the fundamental aspects of the question of discounting the uncertain future, this line of research is also interested in studying the relationship between the discount thus measured and variables such as income, savings and investment in a country like Morocco compared to other African countries.
