Webinar - “Education in displacement: Pathways to youth opportunity.”

The Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS), in collaboration with the Research Chair on Forced Displacement at UM6P, is organizing a webinar titled Education in displacement: Pathways to youth opportunity.” The webinar will take place on Tuesday, July 14th, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The webinar will be moderated by Myriam Cherti, UM6P Chair on Forced Displacement.

In this session, we aim to explore how displaced youth access and navigate education systems in host countries, the role of universities and scholarship programmes in expanding opportunities, and the importance of community-based and refugee-led initiatives in supporting learning pathways. We will also reflect on the policies needed to ensure equitable access to quality education and to facilitate the transition from education to employment for displaced youth.
