As part of the AIRESS Research Seminar Series, we were delighted to host Andrew Dillon, Assistant Professor in the Tenure System at Michigan State University, for a seminar titled “When Timing Matters: Evidence from a Randomized Evaluation of Agricultural Input Access through Village Input Fairs.”
The presentation explored findings from a randomized evaluation examining how Village Input Fairs can enhance farmers’ access to agricultural inputs, with a particular focus on the critical role of timing in decision-making and resource allocation. It highlighted how better-aligned distribution mechanisms can help address seasonal constraints, improve input adoption, and ultimately support agricultural productivity.
