The Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences hosted a research seminar on Thursday, February 12, led by Alexis Blouët, Research Fellow at the CNRS. During his presentation, he revisited the constitutional process that unfolded in Egypt following the 2011 Arab Spring and the fall of President Hosni Mubarak. Drawing on his doctoral research conducted in Cairo, he provided an in-depth analysis of the drafting of the new constitution, based on direct access to key political actors, institutional sites, and primary documents.
