The Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS) hosted the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Association of Southern European Economic Theorists (ASSET) from October 30th to November 1st at the Rabat Campus of UM6P.

The conference gathered renowned scholars, economists, and researchers from leading international institutions to present and debate cutting-edge work in analytical and quantitative economics, econometrics, and related fields. Over three days, participants engaged in thematic sessions, plenary talks, and panel discussions exploring a wide range of issues — from macroeconomic growth and finance to energy transitions, climate economics, and behavioral decision-making.
