The Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS) organized yesterday, Wednesday, September 10, 2025, a research seminar at the Rabat campus of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University on the theme “Access to survey and census data produced by the Haut-Commissariat au Plan (HCP): an opportunity to boost research at FGSES.”

Led by Professor Aziz Ajbilou, the seminar highlighted the strategic importance of HCP data in enhancing the quality and relevance of academic work carried out at FGSES. Participants engaged in discussions on methodological perspectives, practical challenges, and the opportunities that these statistical resources provide to support high-impact research, ultimately contributing to a deeper understanding of Morocco’s economic and social dynamics.
