The Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences is organizing a roundtable on ''Water and Renewable Energy'' on Wednesday, April 16th, at 5:30 p.m. at the Rabat campus of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.
The Water and Renewable Energy Round Table will serve as a pivotal discussion on two of the most critical and interconnected challenges of our time. This session brings together international (academics) and local (Moroccan leaders) experts to explore innovative strategies for managing water scarcity while advancing renewable energy solutions. By addressing the synergies and trade-offs between water management and energy production, the round table aims to highlight actionable policies and technologies that promote sustainability. This dialogue will also integrate global perspectives with local insights, showcasing how regions like Morocco can lead in adopting transformative practices for a sustainable future. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the vital linkages between these sectors and the opportunities they present for climate resilience and economic growth.
